Best for: Crypto payment choice
Around ten cryptocurrencies sit next to cards, Interac and a dozen e-wallets at Velobet, and crypto depositors get their own 160% bonus. Getting money out is the weak point: withdrawals stop at €15,000 a month, nothing is paid at weekends, wins above €100,000 per spin are capped, and complaints describe identity “investigations” that freeze balances for months.

Who is behind Velobet: licence, sister sites and complaints
Velobet is operated by Santeda International B.V., registered in Curaçao under number 151296, and holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1798/1048, which Casino.guru shows as valid. Payments run through Santeda International Limited, a Cypriot company (HE406761) based in Larnaca. The casino launched in 2023, two years after the velobet.com domain was registered.
Velobet belongs to a wider Santeda group that includes MyStake, Rolletto, GoldenBet, CosmoBet and DonBet, the last formally run through GTW B.V. FinTelegram’s reporting says the brands share operator infrastructure, payments, support and terms, so a problem with Santeda’s payment chain or its rules would reach all of them at once.
Regulators have taken notice. In February 2026, Australia’s ACMA named Velobet, along with sister sites Rolletto and Cosmobet, among eight sites “operating in the country illegally” and asked internet providers to block them. A FinTelegram investigation calls Santeda “Europe’s most sophisticated illegal gambling network”, says its brands take players from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France without local licences, and notes that the beneficial owners are not disclosed. Velobet is not licensed in the United States, does not accept players from Ohio, and runs without bonuses in Ontario.
Ratings look healthier than the complaint record. Casino.guru gives a Safety Index of 8.0/10 (High) and estimates revenue above $20 million a year, while AskGamblers rates the casino 7.7/10 and players there give it 9/10 from 59 reviews. Trustpilot has hidden Velobet’s score for breaching its guidelines and says it removed a number of fake reviews; of the 841 that remain, 51% are five-star and 37% one-star.
Casino.guru holds 139 complaints: 107 rejected, 27 resolved and 5 open. Their themes are confiscated winnings, closed accounts, withdrawal problems and ignored loyalty-bonus requests. Player complaints are allegations, not findings. AskGamblers adds 13 complaints, mostly about payments, averaging $1,481 and taking 12 days to settle against a market average of 8; the common thread is an “investigation” that blocks withdrawals for months.
The terms give the operator wide room. Velobet can close an account at its discretion without giving a reason, returning the balance minus withdrawal charges. A win cap of €100,000 per spin applies, every deposit must be wagered at least once before withdrawal, and betting strategies used while a bonus is active can void winnings.
Responsible-gambling tools cover self-exclusion, a cool-off period, session limits and a self-assessment test. Recent complaints describe accounts reopened after the player asked for closure and deposits accepted from a player registered with the UK’s GamStop scheme, so self-exclusion requests should be confirmed in writing.
Payout reliability, limits and investigations
Withdrawals are capped at €7,500 a week and €15,000 a month, with larger amounts paid in monthly instalments; VIP accounts can receive higher limits. Combined with the €100,000 per-spin cap, a big win takes months to collect: €100,000 at €15,000 a month needs seven payments.
AskGamblers puts the pending stage at 0 to 72 hours, followed by up to 48 hours for e-wallets and up to 72 hours for cards and bank transfers, and confirms that withdrawals are not processed at weekends. Crypto can be faster once an account has passed verification. A typical cash-out therefore clears within one to three business days after the pending period.
The minimum withdrawal is €10 or €20 depending on the method. Velobet charges no fee of its own, but international bank transfers can cost up to €16, bank transfer is unavailable for USD payouts, and a deposit withdrawn without being wagered once attracts a 20% fee. On a €200 deposit cashed out unplayed, that is €40.
Verification is full KYC: ID, proof of address and, in some cases, video identification, with routine checks taking up to 48 hours. The complaint pattern sits here. Player reviews describe repeated document requests, investigations lasting up to six months and a €3,800 withdrawal that never arrived, alongside positive accounts of quick checks and bank withdrawals completed within three hours.
A player planning a large cash-out at Velobet is best served by completing verification right after the first deposit, keeping the chat transcripts and document confirmations, and splitting withdrawals to stay inside the €7,500 weekly cap.
Bonus terms that can cost you winnings
The casino package covers three deposits. The first earns 150% with a cap of €500 to €750, plus 300 free spins, from a €10 deposit; high rollers depositing €500 or more can take 100% up to €1,000 with 300 free spins instead. The second deposit brings 100% up to €500 and the third 80% up to €500, each from €20. The 300 spins arrive as 30 on deposit and 30 a day for the next nine days, but only on days the player logs in.
Wagering is 30x the deposit plus bonus, with 30 days to complete it and a €5 maximum bet. Only one bonus can be active at a time. On the second and third bonuses, table games count so little that the effective requirement rises to between 150x and 600x, so the package works only for slot players.
Crypto depositors have a separate offer: 160% up to €1,000 from a €10 deposit, for slots only, activated manually, with 35x wagering on deposit plus bonus. It has to be switched on by the player, and taking it rules out the casino package for that deposit.
Wagering on deposit plus bonus doubles the work compared with the same multiplier on the bonus alone, which makes 30x and 35x here stricter than they first look. The no-deposit offer is stricter still: 10 free spins for joining Velobet’s Discord or social channels and confirming with support, at 100x wagering, with 24 hours to use them and withdrawals capped at €100.
A sportsbook welcome of 150% up to €1,000 carries 15x wagering on accumulators of at least three selections at odds of 1.3 or higher. The bonus that needs no wagering at all is the 10% cashback described below, which makes it the most practical promotion on the site for regular depositors.
Crypto, cards and e-wallets in one cashier
Velobet is a hybrid casino that accepts crypto, not a crypto-native one. The core coins are BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP and USDT, with DOGE, TRX, USDC, BCH, Monero (XMR), DASH, ADA and XLM available in some regions, around ten coins in total at any one time.
The fiat side is broad: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, AstroPay, Interac, Paysafecard, Revolut, MiFinity, Jeton, Neosurf, PayID, CashtoCode, Payz and bank wire, with around 15 account currencies including EUR, USD, GBP, CAD, AUD and BRL. Deposits start at €10 and top out at €5,000 per transaction.
Those limits set the scale of the account. A player can put in up to €5,000 at a time, but the weekly withdrawal cap of €7,500 means a balance built from several large deposits leaves in instalments, whichever method is used. Deposits also have to be turned over once before any withdrawal, so moving money in through one method and straight out through another costs the 20% fee.
That mix is the reason to pick Velobet for payment choice: a player can deposit in crypto for the 160% bonus and fall back on Interac, PayID or an e-wallet where coins are inconvenient. Check the network on the deposit screen before sending stablecoins, as a transfer on the wrong chain cannot be recovered. One player complaint concerns a BTC deposit that was never credited.
A large lobby without fairness proofs
The library runs to several thousand games, roughly 6,000 to 9,500, from around 100 providers. Studios include Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, BGaming, Wazdan, Endorphina, Microgaming, BetSoft, Amatic, Playson, Evoplay, GameArt and Habanero.
Beyond slots and progressive jackpots, the lobby covers poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, Sic Bo, bingo, lotteries, video poker, keno, scratch cards, crash games, a minigames section and virtual sports. The live casino holds more than 440 games from Evolution, Lucky Streak, Amusnet, 7Mojos and PROgaming.
There are no in-house games and no provably fair titles. RNG testing and RTP figures are not independently audited, and there is no demo mode, so every game has to be tried with real money. Players who want to verify outcomes or test a slot for free will find neither at Velobet.
A sportsbook with more than 40 sports, esports such as Dota 2, CS2 and Valorant, virtual sports and racing sits alongside the casino.
Live chat, email and escalation
Live chat runs 24/7 with an average first response of about three minutes, and email replies take around 12 hours. There is no phone line, and the help centre covers only two topics. The site itself is available in eight languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Finnish, Norwegian and Portuguese.
Written follow-up is weaker than the chat speed suggests. On Trustpilot, the company answers about a third of reviews, mostly with template replies that point to its email address. For a frozen withdrawal, a dated email thread naming the amount, the request date and the documents already supplied gives the best basis for a complaint through a mediation platform, where Velobet typically replies within about 2 days.
Mobile access through a web app
There are no native iOS or Android apps. The site works in mobile browsers and can be added to the home screen as a progressive web app through Safari, Chrome or Opera, which gives an app-style icon without an app-store download.
The full lobby, live casino and sportsbook run in the mobile version. Two-factor authentication is not supported, so a strong unique password is the only protection on the account, whichever device is used to sign in.
Cashback, Velo Casino Marathon and VIP perks
The most useful reward is a 10% cashback on deposits with no wagering. It counts deposits made since the last bonus or withdrawal, requires at least £200 in deposits over that period, and has to be requested through live chat; it does not arrive automatically.
The Velo Casino Marathon awards one point per $1 wagered on slots, live games and minigames, with weekly prizes paid on Thursdays at 00:00 GMT and a larger monthly leaderboard. Prizes carry no wagering, but withdrawals from them are capped at 5x the prize amount.
A VIP programme exists, but its tiers and thresholds are not made public. Its perks include exclusive promotions and free spins, the cashback above and higher withdrawal limits, which is the perk that matters most given the €15,000 monthly cap. Complaints include loyalty-bonus requests that went unanswered, so a promised VIP limit is worth confirming by email before a large withdrawal.
Six trust checks on Velobet’s exit route
- ConcernComplaint recordCasino.guru holds 139 complaints, 107 rejected, and a recurring thread describes identity investigations blocking withdrawals for months.
- ConcernPayout reliabilityWithdrawals stop at €7,500 a week and €15,000 a month, nothing is paid at weekends, and pending lasts up to 72 hours.
- ConcernVerificationID and proof of address are required before withdrawal, sometimes with video identification, and investigations of up to six months are reported.
- CautionBonus termsCasino wagering is 30x deposit plus bonus and the crypto offer 35x, both with a €5 maximum bet and strategy-based voiding of winnings.
- CautionSupportLive chat answers in about three minutes around the clock, while email takes around 12 hours and the help centre covers only two topics.
- CautionPlayer protectionSelf-exclusion, cool-off, session limits and a self-assessment test exist, yet complaints describe accounts reopened after closure requests.
Other casinos worth comparing
- Merlin Casino — a welcome package with no wagering on the bonus, only a single turnover of each deposit.
- Leon Bet Casino — an even larger catalogue built on a wider spread of game studios.
- Fortune Play Casino — a four-deposit package with weekly reloads and a stronger trust record than Velobet.
- GoldenPanda — a bigger single welcome match with free spins for players focused on the first deposit.
Frequently asked questions
Is Velobet licensed, and is it legal where I live?
Santeda International B.V. runs Velobet under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1798/1048. That permit does not cover every country: Australia’s ACMA asked internet providers to block the site in February 2026, and the brand holds no local licence in markets such as the UK or the United States. Whether you may play depends on your own country’s law, which is worth checking before you deposit.
How long do Velobet withdrawals take?
Plan for up to three days in pending, then one to three business days for cards, banks and e-wallets. Crypto can be quicker once your documents are approved. Saturday and Sunday are not processing days, so a Friday request waits until the following week. Payouts are limited to €7,500 per week and €15,000 per month, and larger sums are split into monthly parts.
What wagering applies to Velobet bonuses?
The three-deposit casino package needs 30x the deposit and bonus combined within 30 days, and the 160% crypto offer needs 35x on the same base, so €100 in crypto means €9,100 of bets. Stakes are limited to €5 while a bonus runs. The small social-media spin offer is far tougher at 100x, with a €100 withdrawal cap.
Which cryptocurrencies can I use at Velobet?
Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, XRP and Tether are always available, and depending on your region the list extends to Dogecoin, Tron, USD Coin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Dash, Cardano or Stellar. Ten or so coins are on offer at any one time. The minimum deposit is €10, the same as for cards, and the crypto bonus requires manual activation.
Does Velobet require KYC verification?
Yes, before any cash-out. Expect to upload ID and proof of address, and some players are also asked for a video call. Standard checks take up to two days, but complaint sites describe repeat requests and account investigations lasting months, so verifying soon after signing up and keeping every confirmation email is the safer approach.
Is there a maximum win at Velobet?
Yes. A single spin can pay no more than €100,000, and because cash-outs stop at €15,000 a month, collecting a win of that size takes about seven months unless a VIP arrangement lifts the limit. High-stakes slot players should weigh both ceilings before choosing Velobet over a casino without them.
Does Velobet have an app?
No native app exists for iPhone or Android. Instead, you can save the site to your home screen as a web app from Safari, Chrome or Opera and get the full casino and sportsbook that way. Two-factor login is not available, so use a password you do not reuse anywhere else.
Can Velobet’s crypto cashier make up for its payout friction?
Velobet’s 5.3/10 reflects a casino that is easy to pay into and slow to get paid by. Around ten coins, a long list of cards and e-wallets, a 160% crypto bonus and wager-free 10% cashback make deposits flexible, and the lobby draws on roughly 100 studios.
The exit is where it falls short: €15,000 a month, no weekend payouts, a €100,000 per-spin cap, months-long investigations in the complaint record and an account-closure clause that needs no reason. Velobet suits moderate-stakes slot players who verify early and value payment choice. High rollers and anyone who needs fast access to large wins are better served by one of the alternatives above.
