Best for: Verifiable fairness

Duelbits has run since 2020 with a set of provably fair Originals, thousands of studio games and wager-free rakeback paid in crypto, but on 24 September 2026 a hot-wallet hack took the site offline for three days, the second such breach in under three years. The 5.0/10 score reflects that tension: strong games and rewards on one side; on the other, mandatory verification, no weekend payouts, a long complaint record and terms that allow balances of inactive accounts to be voided.

Who runs Duelbits: licence, hacks and complaint record

Duelbits is operated by Liquid Entertainment N.V., registered in Curaçao under number 153298, with payments and support handled by Herpestidae Services Limited of Cyprus (HE 410029). It holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, issued under the reformed 2024 regime, and Casino.guru also records an Anjouan licence, ALSI-112310013-FI5. Neither is a tier-one licence such as those issued in Malta or the UK.

The casino does not accept players from France, the Netherlands, Singapore, the United Kingdom or the United States, including Ohio, and the list can be longer. Using a VPN to get round a block is prohibited, and one player reports a reward refused because of alleged VPN use.

Security is the main concern in the track record. In February 2024 about $4.6 million was taken from a Duelbits hot wallet in what analysts linked to a possible private-key compromise; the company made no public statement. On 24 September 2026 a second attack drained hot wallets on Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, Tron and Solana, with losses estimated at between $4.2 million and $7 million. The site went offline the same day. Duelbits said user funds were safe because hot and cold wallets are kept separate, a claim that has not been independently checked, and it reopened deposits and withdrawals on 27 September with about $8 million in hot and cold wallets, according to the crypto news site CCN. It had not disclosed the cause of the breach by the time it reopened.

Casino.guru gives Duelbits a Safety Index of 7.5/10, Above average, and estimates annual revenue above $20 million. It rates the terms “somewhat unfair” over two clauses: low-risk play can lead to confiscated winnings, and the balance of an inactive account can be voided after a period of 12 months to two years. Its file holds 72 complaints, of which 47 were rejected, 22 resolved, 2 remain unresolved and 1 is open, over amounts from €21 to €30,113. They concern accounts closed, sometimes without explanation, confiscated winnings, compliance-related withdrawal delays and unpaid winnings. Complaints are player accounts and not rulings, but the themes are consistent.

AskGamblers shows a harder picture: an expert score of 7.1/10 and a player score of 7.5/10 from 24 reviews, but none of its 10 complaints resolved, including all six about payments, with an average disputed amount of $27,434. Trustpilot gives 2.9/5 from 337 reviews, split between 51% five-star and 37% one-star ratings.

The brand has a public profile beyond crypto: it sponsored Aston Villa and the Argentine Football Association in 2022 and became title sponsor of World Snooker Tour events, the “Duelbits Series”, in 2023, replacing Cazoo on ITV-broadcast tournaments.

Payout reliability and verification checks

Duelbits advertises instant crypto payouts. Once a request is approved, an independent review timed the blockchain transfer at 30 seconds to two minutes, but standard processing allows up to 24 hours before approval. Withdrawals are not processed at weekends, so a request made on Saturday morning can wait until Monday. During the September 2026 outage no withdrawals were possible for about three days.

Minimum withdrawals depend on the coin: about $50 for BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC, about $25 for BNB, and about $10 for SOL, XRP, LTC, DOGE, TRX, DAI and SHIB. Duelbits charges no fee; the network fee, around $1 on TRC-20 and $5 to $30 or more on ERC-20, is shown before you confirm. Monthly withdrawal limits are given as anything from about $10,000 on standard accounts, with more by agreement with the VIP team, to no cap at all, so a player expecting a large win should ask support for their account’s limit in writing.

Verification is compulsory. Basic details (name, country and date of birth) are needed before using the cashier, and documents are requested at withdrawal: photo ID, a liveness selfie, proof of address and, for larger sums, proof of where the funds came from. Checks usually take 24 to 72 hours. Fiat payments require additional checks on top.

Payout complaints follow a recognisable pattern: an account banned or closed after a large win with funds held, KYC applied selectively to winning players, and withdrawals delayed for compliance reasons. Players who win big should expect a full document review before release, and the complaint record above shows that payment disputes rarely end in the player’s favour.

Verify early: complete ID, selfie and address checks right after the first deposit and keep proof-of-funds documents ready. A big win is when Duelbits is most likely to hold a withdrawal, and an unfinished verification gives it the reason to.

Rookie Rush spins and the 30x match

Duelbits does not offer one fixed welcome package, and offers vary by region and over time. The current headline is Boosted Rookie Rush: up to 500 free spins on Pragmatic Play slots, unlocked in stages as total wagering reaches $50, $250 and $500, from a first deposit of $20. The targets must be met within 7 days, the spins expire 72 hours after they are credited, and winnings from them carry no wagering, which makes this one of the cleaner spin offers on the market.

The alternative is a 100% crypto match up to $500 with 30x wagering, cleared only in the Crash and Originals lobby. Some regions also see a 100% match up to $1,000 with a promo code. Because the qualifying games are the provably fair Originals, every bet towards the requirement can be checked, but the lobby restriction rules out clearing it on slots.

Worked example: deposit $500 and the 100% match adds $500. Turnover required: $500 × 30 = $15,000, all on Crash and Originals. For Rookie Rush, the full set of spins needs $500 of wagering inside 7 days, with each batch of spins used within 72 hours of arriving.

Maximum bet and maximum cash-out rules for the match are not set out in a single place, so read the offer terms before opting in; one player complaint concerns unclear wagering on a $15 bonus. Duelbit Challenges add free spins, cash and credits for hitting turnover targets, and VIP players receive reload bonuses.

Coins, networks and fiat routes

The cashier takes about 13 cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, DAI, LTC, SOL, XRP, TRX, BNB, DOGE, SHIB and the TRUMP meme token. Deposits are converted into Duelbits Coins, an internal balance pegged to the US dollar, so the account value does not move with crypto prices once funds arrive. USDT can be sent on TRC-20 or ERC-20, and other multi-network assets also let you choose the chain. Select the same network in your wallet as in the cashier, since a transfer on the wrong chain is generally lost.

Minimum deposits start from about $10, for example for USDC and DAI, while USDT needs $50. For small balances, TRC-20 keeps costs near $1 per transfer; ERC-20 fees can exceed the amount being moved.

Fiat options are broader than at most crypto-first casinos. There are 27 payment methods in total, including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Interac, Revolut, MuchBetter, PIX, PayDo, Webpay Chile, WebMoney, bank transfer and Kinguin gift cards, though not every method is available in every country. Card and PayPal users face additional verification, and fiat withdrawals are only possible after a card deposit.

Duelbits Originals and the studio lobby

The in-house Duelbits Originals form the provably fair core: Moonshot, Crash, Plinko, Dice, Mines, Hi Lo, Keno, Blackjack, Roulette, Duel Poker, Scratchcards and Lottery. Each result is generated from a server seed, a client seed that the player can change, and a nonce. The server seed is committed in hashed form before play and revealed afterwards, so the outcome of any round can be recomputed and checked. This is what earns Duelbits its fairness credentials, and it applies to the Originals only.

Beyond them, the lobby holds between 5,000 and about 6,400 games from 95 to 115 studios, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Play’n GO, BGaming, Big Time Gaming, Relax Gaming, Wazdan, Thunderkick, Playtech, Microgaming and Spinomenal. Studio games rely on each supplier’s certified RNG, and Casino.guru’s Gamecheck found no fake games in the titles it sampled.

Categories cover slots, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, video poker, bingo, keno, scratch cards and crash games. The live casino runs several hundred tables around the clock from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, with roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows such as Dream Catcher.

A sportsbook powered by TGP Europe, covering 65 sports including esports and racing with live betting and cash-out, shares the same balance.

Support, languages and gambling controls

Live chat runs 24/7, starting with an AI assistant and passing to a human agent on request, and first responses are instant. Support works in English only, by chat or by email at [email protected], and a help centre holds about 50 articles. The site itself is available in seven to eight languages, including English, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese.

Complaint handling is slower than chat. Formal complaints take around three days for a first response, and the company answers 88% of negative public reviews, usually within two weeks. A player review posted during the September 2026 outage complained that players had been unable to cash out for almost two days, and the company’s reply did not address that point.

Gambling controls are weak. There are no built-in deposit, loss or wager limits and no reality checks. Self-exclusion has to be requested through chat or email: it starts with a 24-hour cooling-off period and can then run from one week to permanently, without early reversal. The site links to BeGambleAware, but complaints describe self-exclusions handled poorly and promotions left unpaid after an exclusion began.

Account security tools are better: 256-bit SSL, optional two-factor authentication and a Vault that locks funds away from the playable balance. Switching on 2FA and moving winnings into the Vault reduces the damage from a stolen password.

Mobile browser play

There is no native app in the app stores. Duelbits runs as a responsive website in mobile browsers on iOS and Android, and players regularly praise its clean interface and fast loading.

The Originals, with simple controls and short rounds, are the easiest part to use on a phone, while the live lobby streams in the same browser tab. Because there is nothing to install, updates arrive automatically; add the site to the home screen for one-tap access, and keep 2FA enabled on a device that is easy to lose.

Ace’s Rewards, rakeback and tournaments

The loyalty scheme, Ace’s Rewards with the Ace’s VIP Lounge at the top, pays instant rakeback in real crypto with no wagering, so it can be withdrawn straight away. It can be collected instantly, daily, weekly or monthly. The rate is advertised at up to 50%, and the sign-up page now promotes 62.5%. Some games do not earn rakeback.

There are more than 30 levels, each with up to four milestones, and progress is automatic. From Silver upwards, players get a personal VIP manager and priority support; above the public ladder, an invite-only VIP tier adds custom bonuses and priority withdrawals. Cashback, reload bonuses and custom gifts are part of the perks. One player review criticises the VIP club, saying lossback promises went unmet and rakeback payments arrived slowly.

Tournaments run constantly: a weekly Originals tournament worth $10,000 for the top 100, with bets counting from $0.50 at a multiplier of 1.3 or more; a daily $10,000 leaderboard across 100 places; and a weekly $30,000 leaderboard across 250 places. A referral programme pays 10% of the house edge generated by referred players.

For fairness-minded players, the combination works well: Originals tournaments reward play on games whose results can be checked, and rakeback arrives as withdrawable crypto. Leaderboards push volume, though, and unpaid leaderboard prizes and rakeback are a recurring complaint theme.

Frequently asked questions

Which licence does Duelbits hold?

Liquid Entertainment N.V. of Curaçao runs the casino under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, and Casino.guru also shows an Anjouan licence. UK, US, French, Dutch and Singaporean players are refused. Casino.guru rates safety at 7.5/10 but describes the terms as somewhat unfair.

Is Duelbits safe after the 2026 hack?

The site came back on 27 September 2026, three days after attackers emptied several hot wallets, and Duelbits says player balances were never touched. It was the second breach after a theft of about $4.6 million in February 2024, and no cause has been disclosed. Keep only what you are playing with on the site and turn on 2FA.

How long do Duelbits withdrawals take?

Approval can take up to a day, after which the blockchain transfer has typically taken 30 seconds to two minutes. Nothing is processed on Saturdays or Sundays. The smallest cash-out ranges from about $10 for coins such as Litecoin to $50 for Bitcoin or Tether, and the casino itself charges nothing.

Does Duelbits require KYC?

Yes. Name, country and date of birth are needed to use the cashier, and a withdrawal brings requests for photo ID, a live selfie and proof of address, plus proof of funds for bigger amounts. Expect one to three days for approval, and expect closer scrutiny after a big win.

What is the Rookie Rush offer?

A spins-for-wagering welcome: bet $50, $250 and then $500 within a week of a $20 first deposit and up to 500 Pragmatic Play spins unlock. Whatever the spins win is paid without a playthrough, but each batch lapses after 72 hours, so the offer only suits players who would wager that much anyway.

How does Duelbits rakeback work?

A share of the house edge on each bet goes back to you as withdrawable crypto, with no playthrough attached, and you choose whether to collect it instantly, daily, weekly or monthly. The advertised rate reaches 50%, with 62.5% now promoted at sign-up. Silver and above adds a dedicated manager.

What should a fairness-minded player make of Duelbits?

Duelbits delivers on verifiable play: a dozen Originals whose results can be recomputed, tournaments built around them and rakeback paid as real crypto. Where it falls short is custody and dispute handling. Two hot-wallet hacks in under three years, a cause still undisclosed for the latest one, and a complaint record in which payment disputes rarely go the player’s way mean the balance held on site carries more risk than the games themselves.

Players who verify early, withdraw winnings promptly on weekdays and keep 2FA and the Vault switched on can use what Duelbits does well. Anyone who wants to leave a sizeable balance on account, or who relies on deposit limits to control spending, should compare the alternatives above.
