Best for: Verifiable fairness

DuckDice has run its own provably fair dice game since 2016, with a house edge of about 1% and results anyone can check through HMAC-SHA512 seeds. That core, wager-free rakeback and no requirement to upload ID before playing earn it 6.5/10. Holding it back are a thin game library, a recent change of operator, terms that let the casino close accounts at its sole discretion, and a stream of complaints about withdrawals blocked after identity checks.

Who runs DuckDice: licence, operator change and complaints

DuckDice is operated by Zentari Limitada, a company registered in San José, Costa Rica (registration number 9845000OAF4456CVB467), and is licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-202509013-FI1. Until around 2025 the site was run by Sabant B.V. under a Curaçao licence, which is why older reviews still show a Curaçao address. Payments are handled by an agent, Defraya Ltd of Nicosia, Cyprus.

Disputes are escalated to Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. The casino is not licensed in the United States, and its terms exclude players from Australia, Austria, Belarus, Comoros, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as countries on the FATF blacklist. The list can change without notice, and giving a false location breaches the terms.

Casino.guru gives DuckDice a Safety Index of 8.4/10, rated High, finds no unfair rules in its terms, and links the operator to one other, unnamed casino. It does flag a win limit of $300,000 per spin or round as low. DuckDice is also a member of the Crypto Gambling Foundation, an industry group that lists operators meeting its standards.

The terms themselves give the operator wide discretion, and these clauses matter more than the headline score:

  • accounts can be suspended or closed without notice at the casino’s sole discretion, and players agree not to contest its judgement of how serious a breach was;
  • winnings linked to suspicious activity are not paid, and refunds on closed accounts are discretionary;
  • in suspected fraud, the account is frozen, payments reversed and winnings voided;
  • inactive accounts can be suspended, and after six months closed, with funds returned on request “when and if practically possible”;
  • politically exposed persons are not accepted, and the operator can publish the nicknames and bets of big winners.

Five complaints sit on Casino.guru: two over delayed withdrawals, two over confiscated winnings and one in which a player sought a refund after a self-exclusion was ignored; three were rejected, one resolved and one is open. Complaints are player accounts and not rulings, but the same themes appear elsewhere. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.3/10 and a player score of 5.5/10 from two reviews, and records a resolved case in which a deposit bonus changed a player’s level and faucet size without that being disclosed. On Trustpilot the brand scores 3.4/5 from 313 reviews, with 68% five-star and 22% one-star ratings, a split that points to two very different experiences.

Payout reliability and verification checks

Crypto withdrawals are automated, and DuckDice states that 99.8% of requests are approved instantly, with typical payouts in two to five minutes. Players regularly praise payout speed. The terms add an important qualifier: any withdrawal can be sent for manual review, which is “typically” completed within up to three business days with no fixed deadline, and the casino accepts no responsibility for blockchain delays. AskGamblers puts the pending stage at up to 48 hours, card and bank payouts at up to 72 hours, and notes no weekend processing.

DuckDice publishes no fixed withdrawal ceiling, but clause 15.4 of the terms allows daily, weekly or monthly limits based on account status, verification level, history, payment method, currency and risk, and lets the casino change them without notice. A player who wins big therefore cannot plan around a known cap; the limit is whatever the review team sets at that moment. The separate $300,000 maximum win per round only matters to very large stakes.

The minimum withdrawal runs from about $10 to $20 depending on the coin. The bigger obstacle is verification. No documents are needed to open an account, deposit or play, but the terms allow requests for proof of identity, location and the origin of funds at any time, and deposits and withdrawals can be restricted until checks are complete. Large or flagged withdrawals are the usual trigger, and checks go through an outside verification provider.

That is where a recurring complaint pattern starts: it runs from a pending withdrawal to a KYC request and then a blocked account or refused payout, in some cases explained by “low recent activity”. Players who rely on the no-upload model should treat it as the default for small sums, not as a promise covering a large cash-out.

Before a large cash-out: have a passport or ID card, a recent proof of address and an explanation of where your crypto came from ready. The terms let DuckDice hold the payout until these arrive, and a manual review then adds up to three business days.

Welcome pack, free coins and deposit turnover

DuckDice was originally built without a deposit bonus, relying on free coins and rakeback instead. It now runs a multi-deposit welcome pack advertised at up to $5,000, with stages Casino.guru lists as 100% up to $2,500 and a final 200% match up to $5,000. The general terms carry no detailed bonus rules: wagering, expiry and maximum bet are set out on each offer’s claim page, so read that page before accepting, because one player complaint concerns how wagering progress was calculated.

A bonus can also have side effects beyond its own terms. In the case noted above, claiming a deposit bonus affected the player’s level and faucet size, which the casino had not disclosed. Other promotions include a Lucky Bet Bonus, a VIP bonus of up to $3,750, sports free bets and promo codes; a code is not needed to register.

The free-coin system is the more distinctive offer. Duck Hunt, a mini-game, pays small amounts of around 0.00001 BTC, and the DuckyCloud Rainbot drops coins into the chat. Neither carries wagering, so they let a new player try the dice game and check its fairness without depositing. The sums are tiny, and their value lies in testing the platform at no cost.

One rule applies to every deposit, bonus or not: each deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn. The bonus forfeiture clause adds that any winnings or rewards obtained in breach of the rules will not be paid.

Worked example: deposit $200 and the 1x rule requires $200 × 1 = $200 of bets before a withdrawal. On Original Dice with a 1% house edge, the expected cost of that turnover is $200 × 1% = $2. With rakeback of up to 30% of the house edge, up to $0.60 of that comes back.

Coins, swaps and network fees

DuckDice supports more than 30 native cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, DOGE, LTC, XRP, ADA, TRX, BNB, SOL, XMR, SHIB, POL (formerly MATIC), BCH, AVAX, Dash and Zcash, and a built-in exchange gives access to over 100 further altcoins. Stablecoins run on standard networks such as ERC20 and TRC20, across nine chains in total. Monero support is unusual and matters to players who prioritise privacy.

There is no minimum deposit, and the platform charges no fees of its own. Players pay the network fee on withdrawals, for example 0.00005 BTC, 0.001 LTC or 1.0 DOGE. On a small Bitcoin cash-out that fee is a meaningful share of the amount, so low-fee coins such as LTC or TRX-based stablecoins suit small balances better. Choose the same network on both sides of a transfer, because a deposit sent on the wrong chain is generally lost.

Fiat routes exist but depend on location. The operator offers card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal options and crypto purchases through MoonPay, while Visa, Mastercard and AstroPay deposits and Visa, Mastercard, bank wire and AstroPay withdrawals also appear, with fiat payouts taking up to 72 hours. The cashier offers 38 payment methods in all, and players can deposit in crypto and play in fiat values.

Provably fair dice and the wider lobby

The centre of DuckDice is its in-house dice. Original Dice and Range Dice offer manual, auto and flash betting modes, and an API lets players run their own betting bots. Sniper and a lottery complete the originals. The house edge on these games is about 1%, which equals a theoretical return of about 99%.

Every original uses an HMAC-SHA512 provably fair system. Before a bet, the server commits to a hashed server seed; the player sets their own client seed, and each roll combines the two with a nonce. After the seed is revealed, any player can recompute the hash and confirm that the result was fixed before the bet and not altered afterwards. This check covers the dice originals only; studio slots and live tables rely on their studios’ RNG certification. AskGamblers lists iTech Labs approval for the casino.

The rest of the lobby is deliberately light. Between 13 and about 20 studios supply slots, live casino, crash and turbo games, among them Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Evolution, Spribe and Hacksaw Gaming. Eight common game types are available and seven are missing, so the choice of genres is narrow. Players who want thousands of slots or a deep live lobby will find the selection thin.

Two extras sit alongside the casino: a progressive dice jackpot triggered by rolling 7777, and a lottery with a $100,000 top prize and tickets at $0.10. A small sportsbook covering football, tennis, basketball, cricket and esports shares the account.

English-only support and the community

Support runs 24/7 through live chat and email, backed by a help centre, an FAQ and API documentation for bot users. Support works in English only. Chat can at times hand questions over to email, and formal complaints get a reply in about two days on average. The company answers 95% of negative public reviews, usually within 48 hours, often pointing to the provably fair system.

A community surrounds the site: a DuckDice forum, Discord, X, Facebook and BitcoinTalk threads, the “Ducklings” player community and rain drops in the chat. These channels are useful for game questions and bot scripts, but an account or payout dispute needs a written email thread with support, which is the evidence any escalation will rely on.

Responsible-gambling information sits on a dedicated page and in a GambleAware section of the FAQ, and self-exclusion is available. One of the five complaints above involved a refund request after a self-exclusion was not applied, so confirm in writing that an exclusion is active before relying on it.

Apps and the mobile site

The website is optimised for both desktop and mobile and loads quickly in a phone browser. The operator also lists apps for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.

The dice interface suits small screens well because a roll needs only a stake, a target and a button, and auto-betting runs without constant tapping. Bot play through the API is better handled on a desktop. Whichever route you choose, turn on a screen lock, since the casino balance sits one tap away on an installed app.

Rakeback, DD Club levels and the Decoy token

Rakeback is the main reward. A share of the house edge on every bet, advertised at up to 30%, accrues in the DD Club and can be collected every 15 minutes, daily, weekly or monthly, with no wagering attached. A lossback of up to $2,000 and a referral commission of up to 30% sit alongside it.

VIP status runs through the levels Pro, Master, GM, Elite, Grand Elite and Legend. Fast-track access starts around level 40, roughly $50,000 wagered, and players can also ask to transfer VIP status from another casino. Perks include profile customisation, priority support and the VIP bonus of up to $3,750, and players praise the VIP managers. Complaints from June 2026 concern changes to the level system and the daily spin.

DuckDice also has its own token, Decoy. It is credited automatically on dice bets, with larger bets earning more, and can be staked, used in airdrops and the Decoy Pot, or won in contests. Staking returns are a promotional feature and not a guaranteed yield. Monthly contests carry prizes of up to $15,000 plus 50,000 Decoy, and Sniper Races run as a separate competition.

Rakeback in numbers: $10,000 wagered on dice at a 1% house edge carries an expected cost of $100. At the maximum 30% rakeback, $30 returns to the account with no wagering. Reaching the level-40 fast track takes about $50,000 of wagering, an expected cost of roughly $500 at the same edge.

Who DuckDice serves well, and who should hesitate

A good fit for

  • Dice players who want to check every result, since in-house rolls use HMAC-SHA512 seeds with a house edge of about 1%.
  • Newcomers wanting a free trial run, as there is no minimum deposit and Duck Hunt and the chat Rainbot hand out free coins.
  • Regular high-volume dice players, since rakeback of up to 30% of the house edge accrues with no wagering attached.
  • Privacy-minded crypto holders, given more than 30 native coins including Monero and no ID upload needed to register or play.

Better to look elsewhere if

  • Players planning a large cash-out, because withdrawals can go to manual review and complaints describe payouts blocked after identity checks.
  • Slot and live-casino fans, since roughly 13 to 20 studios supply a narrow lobby with seven common game types missing.
  • Anyone who needs a known withdrawal ceiling, as limits can be set by account status and risk and changed without notice.
  • Players who need help in a language other than English, since chat and email support operate in English only.

Comparable options

  • BetFury (7.1/10) — its own staking token with a shared reward pool, plus a much larger game library.
  • Razed (6.1/10) — instant rakeback from the first bet and a VIP ladder with personal hosts and milestone prizes.
  • Lucky.fun (5.1/10) — a hybrid cashier where cards, PayPal and e-wallets sit beside a range of coins.
  • Wild.io (6.4/10) — crypto payouts backed by public processing statistics.

Frequently asked questions

Is DuckDice licensed?

Yes. Zentari Limitada of Costa Rica runs DuckDice under Anjouan licence ALSI-202509013-FI1; the earlier operator, Sabant B.V., held a Curaçao licence. Players in the UK, the US, Australia and many European countries are excluded. Casino.guru scores the site 8.4/10, while disputes go to Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. rather than a European regulator.

Do I need to verify my identity at DuckDice?

Not to open an account or start playing. The catch comes later: DuckDice can ask for ID, proof of location or proof of funds whenever it chooses, and both deposits and payouts can be frozen until you comply. Large or flagged cash-outs trigger most requests, and they feature in a recurring pattern of complaints.

How fast are DuckDice withdrawals?

The operator says automated crypto payouts take minutes and claims 99.8% instant approval. If a request goes to manual review, allow up to three business days, longer if documents are needed. There is no fixed cap, but the casino can set daily, weekly or monthly limits for an individual account.

How can I check that a DuckDice roll was fair?

Set your own client seed, note the hashed server seed shown before betting, then reveal the server seed afterwards. Recomputing the HMAC-SHA512 hash from both seeds and the nonce reproduces the roll. If the numbers match, the result was fixed before you bet. This works for the originals, not for slots.

Does DuckDice have a minimum deposit or a faucet?

There is no minimum deposit. Free coins come from the Duck Hunt mini-game and Rainbot drops in chat, without wagering, though the amounts are tiny. Real deposits must be bet through once before withdrawal, so a $200 top-up needs $200 of play first.

What does the DuckDice VIP programme offer?

Wager-free rakeback of up to 30% of the house edge, claimable every 15 minutes, plus lossback of up to $2,000. Levels run from Pro to Legend, a fast track opens around $50,000 wagered, and existing VIPs elsewhere can request a status transfer. Recent level-system changes drew complaints.

Can you rely on DuckDice beyond the dice?

DuckDice earns trust where it can be measured: every original dice roll can be recomputed from its seeds, the house edge is about 1%, and rakeback arrives without wagering. Ten years in operation and Casino.guru’s High safety rating support that. The weaker side lies in what cannot be checked in advance, namely discretionary limits, closure without notice and verification requests that tend to arrive at the moment of a large withdrawal.

For dice players who bet modest sums and withdraw regularly, the model works well. Anyone planning to build a large balance, or who wants a broad slot library, should weigh the blocked-payout complaints and the thin catalogue, and compare the alternatives above.
