Best for: Fair bonus terms
King Billy’s whole four-stage welcome pack carries 30× wagering and a 30-day window, lighter than most casinos ask, but the minimum withdrawal of €40 and weekday-only payouts make cashing out less flexible than playing.
Running since March 2017, the casino has a deep slot lobby with more than 180 jackpot games, a 10-rank VIP Court with weekly cashback of up to 13% and no wagering, and fast-responding 24/7 chat. Crypto is the thin part: four coins, and crypto deposits are excluded from the standard welcome pack in favour of a separate BTC offer.

Who is behind King Billy: licence, operator and track record
King Billy is operated by Novatrix S.R.L., a company registered in Costa Rica. It holds licence No. 0000002 from the Tobique Gaming Commission of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada, and Casino.guru also shows a licence from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros, number ALSI-202508056-FI2.
The ownership has changed over time. King Billy launched on 17 March 2017 under Dama N.V. of Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad, Curaçao, most recently on Curaçao licence OGL/2023/174/0082, and Dama N.V. was still named as operator of its affiliate programme in August 2024. A Malta Gaming Authority licence was announced in 2020 but no longer appears alongside the current permits. The casino runs on SoftSwiss and shares its affiliate programme with one sister brand, Tomb Riches.
The casino does not accept players from any US state, including Ohio, and its terms prohibit using a VPN to get around a regional block. Players in Sweden can open an account but cannot receive bonuses.
Third-party ratings are strong. Casino.guru gives a Safety Index of 8.6/10, in its High band, and its Gamecheck sample found no counterfeit games. AskGamblers awards a CasinoRank of 8.8/10 and a player score of 8.7/10 from 467 reviews; Trustpilot shows 3.5/5 from 776 reviews, with 61% five-star and 26% one-star, although only 53 of those reviews come from the past 12 months; LCB members rate it 3.6/5 from 390 votes, and LCB’s own C$50.03 Interac test withdrawal in 2022 was paid.
Casino.guru still grades the terms Somewhat unfair, for five reasons: bonus winnings have to be withdrawn straight after wagering or a cap applies; claiming too many bonuses puts winnings at risk; common bonus strategies count as a serious breach; the deadline for supplying KYC documents is unreasonably short; and an account that only deposits when a bonus is available can lose its winnings. A dormant fee of €20 a month applies after 12 months without activity.
Its complaint file holds 124 cases: 33 resolved, 89 rejected, 2 open and none unresolved, with amounts ranging from A$134 to €5,000. The themes are delayed or unpaid withdrawals, confiscation after an account was closed, account restrictions, holds while an address was being checked and bonuses not credited. AskGamblers shows a better record, with 45 of 50 mostly payment-related complaints resolved, an average first reply in 2 days and resolution in 7. Player complaints are allegations rather than findings, but repeated proof-of-address requests come up on every platform.
Two King Billy rules carry the most risk for bonus winnings: winnings have to be cashed out as soon as wagering is complete, and deposits made only when a bonus is running can cost an account its winnings.
Payout reliability and verification checks
AskGamblers puts crypto and e-wallet withdrawals at about an hour once approved, card payouts at 1–5 days and bank transfers at 3–7 days, with no processing at weekends. Pending time is up to 24 hours. A request placed on Friday evening therefore waits until Monday before the clock starts.
The minimum withdrawal is €40 for most methods, €100 by bank wire, C$60 in Canada and €20 through Pay via Bank. A €35 balance cannot be withdrawn by card or e-wallet, which leaves a choice between topping up or playing on. Deposits must also be turned over three times before a withdrawal, so a €100 deposit needs €300 of bets first.
Limits are €4,000 a day, €15,000–€20,000 a week and €30,000–€40,000 a month, with up to €2,000 per transaction, and amounts above €40,000 are paid in monthly instalments. A €100,000 jackpot at a €40,000 monthly ceiling takes three months to clear. The casino charges no withdrawal fee, though bank transfers can lose up to €16 to intermediary banks.
Verification is required before the first withdrawal: photo ID, proof of address, proof of payment-method ownership and sometimes a phone number, uploaded as JPG, PNG or PDF files up to 10 MB. Depositing and playing work without it. Checks usually finish within 24 hours, but the anti-money-laundering policy allows up to 30 working days once every document is in. Address documents are the most common sticking point in complaints, so a recent utility bill or bank statement in the account holder’s name saves a second round.
Bonus terms that can cost you winnings
The fiat welcome pack totals up to €2,500 and 250 free spins over four deposits: 100% up to €500 plus 100 spins on the first, 50% up to €500 plus 50 spins on the second (code WELCOME2), 25% up to €1,000 on the third (WELCOME3) and 75% up to €500 plus 100 spins on the fourth (WELCOME4). Every stage carries 30× wagering and 30 days to complete it, which is why the casino stands out on bonus terms: 35× to 40× within a week or two is more common.
Turnover example: a €200 first deposit with a 100% match adds a €200 bonus. At 30× the bonus, slot bets must total €6,000. Over 30 days that is €200 a day; played on blackjack at a 5% contribution, the same requirement would take €120,000 in bets.
The fine print narrows the offer. Slots count in full, while table games, live games and video poker count 5%. Progressive jackpots are blocked while a bonus is active, only one bonus can run at a time, the maximum bet is strict (C$7.50 in the Canadian terms), free spins must be activated within 24 hours, and each batch of spins unlocks only after the deposit has been turned over three times within 23 hours.
Crypto deposits do not qualify for this pack. They have their own offer of 100% up to 0.5 BTC plus 250 spins on Aloha King Elvis, also at 30× over 30 days, and a weekly 51% crypto reload at 30×. High rollers can take a 500% package up to €6,500 across four deposits with no maximum win; completing all four within seven days lifts the account straight to Count in the VIP Court.
Smaller recurring offers include a weekly King’s Bonus of 50% up to €75 (code 50PERCENT, 30×), Every Day Spins for €20 deposits with a €50 cap on winnings, daily slot tournaments and the weekly Grand Debut tournament, which starts at €0.20 stakes and awards up to 1,000 free spins.
Coins, cards and account currencies
King Billy accepts four cryptocurrencies, BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT, processed by CoinsPaid, although the site’s own copy also mentions Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin. Crypto deposits have no upper limit, whereas card and other fiat deposits stop at €4,000 per transaction, or €1,500 with Apple Pay.
| Coin | Minimum deposit |
|---|---|
| BTC | 0.0002–0.0003 BTC |
| ETH | 0.006 ETH |
| LTC | 0.2 LTC |
| USDT | 20 USDT |
The fiat side is broader: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Payz, MuchBetter, Jeton, Interac, Instant EFT, Paysafecard, Neosurf, Flexepin and bank transfer through Pay via Bank and PayAnyBank. Account currencies are USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, NOK and ZAR; the currency is fixed at registration, and not every method works in every currency.
Fiat deposits start at €20, or C$30 in Canada. A player who registers in euros and later deposits in Canadian dollars pays a conversion on every transaction, so the account currency is worth choosing to match the bank account or wallet used most. USDT users should check the network shown on the deposit screen before sending, since a transfer on the wrong chain cannot be recovered.
Slots, jackpots and live tables
The library runs to between 5,000 and more than 14,000 games from around 100 studios, including NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Evolution, Big Time Gaming, Playtech, Games Global, Betsoft, Yggdrasil, Relax Gaming and Ezugi. Games Global and Pragmatic Play supply more than 500 titles each, and branded slots such as Buffalo Billy and Book of King Billy appear alongside them.
Jackpots are a strength, with more than 180 titles including Mega Moolah, WowPot and Age of the Gods; a King Billy player won C$3,658,306 on Mega Moolah in 2024 from a C$6.50 stake. Around 200 crash games, bingo, video poker and table games such as blackjack, roulette, baccarat and craps complete the RNG side, and most games run in demo mode without an account.
Live tables come from Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live and run to several hundred games, though live poker is limited. There is no sportsbook. Because jackpot slots are locked during bonus play, anyone chasing Mega Moolah or WowPot has to play them with cash, not bonus funds.
Support channels and safer-play tools
Live chat runs 24/7 and scored Excellent in Casino.guru’s tests, with instant replies across 10 attempts, although the opening AI greeting draws criticism. Email goes to [email protected], and a help centre covers routine questions. There is no phone line. Chat runs in English and German, and the site adds several other European languages.
The casino replies to 87% of negative customer reviews, usually within two weeks. Payment disputes are easier to escalate by email, because a dated thread with the ticket number can be passed to a complaint platform if chat does not resolve the case.
Deposit, wager and loss limits can be set in the account, along with cool-off periods from one day to six months. Self-exclusion is requested by email to support. There is no reality check, self-assessment test or self-exclusion register, and the casino links to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy for outside help.
King Billy on Android and iPhone
Android users can install KingBilly.apk directly from the official site; it is not in Google Play, so the phone has to allow installs from outside the store. There is no iOS app, and iPhone players use the responsive site in Safari.
The browser version runs on the same account as desktop, which makes it the simpler choice on either platform for anyone wary of side-loading an APK.
VIP Court ranks and weekly cashback
The VIP Court has 10 ranks: Citizen, Knight or Dame, Baronet, Baron, Viscount, Count, Marquess, Duke, Prince and King or Queen. Progress is measured in Royal Score points earned from deposits, at roughly €1 per point with about 200 points between levels, so each step up needs around €200 in deposits.
Weekly cashback rises with rank: 3% at Baronet, 5% at Baron and Viscount, 6% at Count and Marquess, 7% at Duke, 9% at Prince and 13% at King or Queen. It is paid on Thursdays without wagering, provided the player deposited and lost at least C$300 net that week. A Count who loses C$1,000 in a week receives C$60 in cash.
King’s Coins are earned from real-money play and exchanged from 100 coins for C$1.50, with 3× wagering on the exchanged amount. Higher ranks add level-up bonuses of €200–€500, free spins and a personal VIP manager from Count upwards, the sixth rank, which takes roughly €1,000 in deposits to reach at 200 points a level, and a VIP Express route has offered Duke status within 24 hours for a €750 deposit.
Who King Billy suits, and who should pass
A good fit for
- Bonus players who want room to clear wagering, since every stage of the welcome pack carries 30x over 30 days.
- Jackpot chasers, given more than 180 titles including Mega Moolah and WowPot, though these must be played with cash.
- Regular depositors who value cashback, as weekly returns of up to 13% are paid on Thursdays with no wagering.
- Fiat players who like varied banking, with PayPal, Interac, Skrill and many more methods across seven account currencies.
Better to look elsewhere if
- Crypto-first players, since only four coins are accepted and crypto deposits are excluded from the main welcome pack.
- Small-stakes players, because the €40 minimum withdrawal leaves a €35 balance stuck for card and e-wallet users.
- Anyone who needs weekend payouts, since nothing is processed at weekends after a pending period of up to 24 hours.
- Players who leave balances untouched, as a €20 monthly dormant fee applies after 12 months without activity.
Casinos to compare with King Billy
- PlayMax — 4.8/10. Worth a look for its wide studio line-up, from NetEnt and Pragmatic Play to Hacksaw and Nolimit City.
- 5Bet — 6.1/10. Pays its welcome spins and cashback as real money with no playthrough at all, and its crypto cashier is stronger.
- Lemon Casino — 5.6/10. Offers an external dispute-resolution route for complaints, plus a stronger crypto cashier.
- Voodoo — 5.1/10. Accepts a wider range of coins alongside the familiar cards and e-wallets.
Questions about King Billy
Is King Billy licensed, and who runs it?
Novatrix S.R.L. of Costa Rica runs the casino under Tobique Gaming Commission licence 0000002, and a Mwali (Comoros) permit appears as well. Earlier it traded through Dama N.V. on a Curaçao licence. Players in the United States are refused, and VPN use to bypass a block breaks the terms.
How quickly does King Billy pay out?
After up to a day of pending and approval, Bitcoin, Tether and e-wallet payments take from under an hour to a few hours. Cards need up to five days and bank wires up to a week. Nothing is processed on Saturday or Sunday, and the smallest card or e-wallet cash-out is €40.
What documents does King Billy ask for?
A passport or other photo ID, a recent proof of address and evidence that the card or wallet belongs to you, plus occasionally a phone number. You can deposit and play first, but nothing leaves the account until the checks pass. Most finish within a day; the AML policy allows up to 30 working days.
How hard is the King Billy welcome bonus to clear?
Easier than most. Each stage needs 30 times the bonus within a month, so a €200 first-deposit match means €6,000 of slot play. Table and live bets contribute only 5%, jackpot slots are off-limits while the bonus runs, and winnings should be withdrawn as soon as wagering ends.
Can I get a bonus on a crypto deposit?
Not from the main €2,500 pack, which is fiat-only. Crypto players get a dedicated match of 100% up to 0.5 BTC with 250 spins on Aloha King Elvis, plus a 51% reload each week; both use the same 30× rule as the fiat offers.
Does King Billy have a mobile app?
Only for Android, as an APK downloaded from the casino’s own website instead of Google Play. iPhone owners play through Safari on the responsive site, which needs no installation. On Android, allow installs from outside the store only for that official file, then switch the setting off again.
How much cashback does the VIP Court pay?
From 3% at Baronet up to 13% at the top King or Queen rank, credited every Thursday as cash with no wagering. It needs a weekly deposit and net loss of at least C$300. Rank is driven by deposits, at roughly €200 per level, and a personal manager arrives at Count.
Is King Billy’s 30× welcome pack worth the payout limits?
King Billy earns its 6.3/10 mainly on bonus fairness, ratings and support: 30× over 30 days across all four stages, high safety ratings and chat that answers instantly. The ownership change to Novatrix, terms graded Somewhat unfair and a €40 withdrawal floor keep it out of the top tier.
A player who deposits in euros or dollars, clears bonuses on slots and withdraws during the week gets good value, especially once VIP cashback starts. If you fund the account mainly in crypto, the four-coin cashier and the exclusion from the main pack remove much of that advantage, and the €20 dormant fee penalises anyone who leaves a balance untouched for a year.
